Physical Perception
her wolf scheme is what people who do not have a strong sense of believe in the gods or a god tend to see most: a pure white female wolf. she is smaller and far more lean than male wolves, and has easily been mistaken for a dog in the past not just because of her size but because of her friendly, practically domesticated behavior (though the more time spent with her, the more characters will realize she's abnormally smart for a canine). she can understand human speech like any other and conveys her own feelings through reactions, gestures, body language, lupine expressions and the occasional written note by the celestial brush.

a more restricted visual is how characters may realize, sense, and/or see her godhood. if the character has a strong sense of faith or religion, believes wholeheartedly in spirits, a god or gods, or is a spirit or animal, they will see ammy as a wolf, covered in divine markings, feathers at her joints, glowing a bright, almost blinding white and with rainbow flames flowing along her back to her head, similar to a crown or halo. they will also be able to see celestial flowers bloom where she walks. angels and celestial beings have mentioned seeing a woman in place of a wolf.
if the character does not believe in gods, a god, or has no strong sense of faith or religion, they will never see the appearance above. they will always see a plain white wolf.
all of these are open to interpretation of course, and is just a matter of how the character perceives the supernatural. magical beings that may be closer to atheist, as an example, might not see any divinity, but they may sense a powerful aura coming from ammy. people have the option of having a slight feeling that they’ve already met, as her particular entity is the sun and the world’s benevolence (which is everywhere). non-believers may always become believers along the way, and so forth. she will receive prayers like a sixth sense being spoken to her, so any means of wanting to contact her in that way will get her attention quickly; those also make her stronger.

amaterasu's main tool and a divine brush that can distort nature through the celestial plain by "drawing" symbols or gestures for the desired technique. there are 13 main techniques that extend from making plants bloom, to changing the immediate weather, to evoking the elements. as the list is rather extensive, a summary and full description of each can be found here for reference!

besides being able to use the celestial brush for long distance attacks, ammy's also skilled in close quarters combat that includes moves learned from onigiri-sensei's dojo and wielding divine instruments. currently, ahmi carries with her tundra beads, solar flare and thunder edge.
