PERCEPTION
-unless otherwise stated, the way characters will perceive ahmi visually now will depend entirely on the character in question, and principally switches between two visuals:
☀️ an older woman (using this pb)
☀️ a white wolf
in other words— this is also all up to you, the player, as to not have any huge restrictions on interaction and getting to play with both forms.
if your character is not looking for human interactions, if they are shy or nervous around people, or if they’re just not that good at talking in general, for example, it is most likely that they’ll see a wolf rather than a woman. if they are expecting to see ahmi for appointments, looking for someone to talk to or are incredibly social, for example, they might have an easier time seeing a woman.
but these aren’t concrete at all, only some examples if you’re stumped, because social people could also really want to pet a woof, and shy people could just really want to talk to human ahmi. you’re welcomed to take liberty in playing around with what you see! characters might even see flashes of both if they see ahmi walking by, so have fun with perception :’)
the only thing that is more of a restricted visual is how people may realize, sense, and/or see her godhood, which i’ve separated below!
☀️ if your character has a strong sense of faith or religion, believes wholeheartedly in spirits, a god or gods, or is a spirit or animal, they will see ahmi, either as a woman or as a wolf, covered in divine markings, feathers at her joints, glowing a bright white and flowing with rainbow flames along her back (like this). they will also be able to see celestial flowers bloom where she steps on soil and as she walks.
☀️ if your character does not believe in gods, a god, or has no strong sense of faith or religion, they will never see the appearance above. they will always see either a plain white wolf or a regular older woman.

I'm going to assume he can definitely see her markings and can sense generally that Ammy is related to an important god, even if he doesn't know it's a facet of Amaterasu herself! Since the series also plays with the idea of perception, sis perception of her may flip between canine and human depending on his level of focus as well.
